174th Meeting A two day meeting was held in the auditorium of the Council on the 8-9 of June, 2009. Chairman Council Dr. Khalid Masud chaired the meeting. Formal meeting started after the recitation of the Holy Quran. Names of the members present in the meeting are as follows: * Dr. Manzoor Ahmad. * Maulana Abdullah Khilji. * Dr. Mohsin Muzaffar Naqvi. * Justice (r) Dr. Munir Mughal. * Justice Syed Afzal Haider. * Justice Rashid Ahmad Jalandhari. * Dr. Faiz Bilquees. * Maulana Mohammad Siddiq Hazarvi. * Mufti Ghulam Mustafa Rizvi. * Mr. Khawaja Sharif Mohammad Amir Koreja. * Mufti Mohammad Ibrahim Qadri. * Maulana Syed Saeed Ahmad Shah Gujrati. * Maulana Mohammad Khan Sheerani. * Dr. Mohammad Idrees. * Maulana Fazal Ali. * Maulana Abu-al-Fateh Mohammad Yusuf. * Dr. Anwar Hussain Siddiqui. A total of 10 agenda items were tabled in the meeting. Some of the key issues discussed were as follows; * The Council informed of the formation of a committee to take up issues like 'Guardianship of poor children and orphans' * Council decided to conduct a workshop on "Bribery" in the next few months. * After the successful session, the Chairman thanked all members for their participation. The meeting concluded with the closing remarks of the Chairman.
