Council’s 169th meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Muhammad Khalid Masud, Chairman, Council of Islamic Ideology on 8-9th April, 2008. Following members attended the meeting. 1. Dr. Manzoor Ahmad. 2. Mr. Javed Ghamidi. 3. Dr. Rashid Jalandhri. 4. Dr. Mohsin Muzaffar Naqvi. 5. Dr. Justice (R) Munir Ahmed Mughal. 6. Maulana Abdullah Khilji. 7. Dr. Faiz Bilquees. After the welcome address given by the Chairman, the activities of the Council were discussed. The Chairman said that the Council was pleased about the successful workshop on “Domestic Violence” which was held on 15th March, 2008. The Chairman also appreciated the lecture organized by the Council on “Islam and Spain”. In the meeting, various research projects in the pipeline were discussed.
